Banani School is located in a quiet, pastoral setting one hour (80 kms on the Great North Road) from Lusaka on 200 hectares of woodland and farmland. The campus has been designed to ensure the health, happiness, and physical safety of all residents.
Apart from the classrooms and administrative centre, the facilities include science laboratories, a library, 30-station computer laboratory, an art centre, multi-purpose dining hall and common room, recording studio and rehearsal hall, and five dormitories accommodating 150 students.
Special features include supervised satellite television, e-mail and Internet use, sports fields, and enclosed swimming pool. A resident nurse is on 24-hour call and is supported by an emergency vehicle for Lusaka and the local hospital 2 kms away.
The fully enclosed campus is patrolled 24 hours a day by security guards, ensuring a safe and secure environment for students and staff.
