Service projects form an integral part of the Banani philosophy. The school holds that students should serve their community, placing others before themselves. Students choose from a service project and devote time every week towards that project. Service projects have included tutoring local basic school students, helping in the library and picking litter in the community.
A ‘House System’ divides the students into four houses for intramural practices .
The school owns several vehicles and a number of educational field trips, both day and overnight, are planned each year. Overnight field trips, organized and conducted by the school, also occur from time to time. Written consent for these trips will be sought beforehand, and prior notification of any extra financial charges to parents will be given. All such trips will be optional.
