A range of service opportunities exist at Banani International School, from visiting lecturers, artists and musicians to long term volunteers who want to experience life in Zambia while contributing to the overall wellbeing of our students in both the Primary and Secondary schools.
Service opportunities vary from time to time but include working with the ground staff to develop the extensive grounds around the school, teaching the students a specific skill such as swimming or drama or helping with developing ICT skills with the staff and student body.
Service volunteers are also expected to engage in the Character Development and Virtues programs as well as taking part in the devotional and service aspects of the community life.
All overseas volunteers are required to produce a current police clearance certificate and evidence of involvement with, and understanding about, the Baha’i community of their home country is required.
